The Nike Air Max 1 ’86 OG ‘Big Bubble’ in ‘Obsidian’ showcases a large-volume Air-sole unit that is inspired from the first production run of the classic running shoe. The groundbreaking cushioning technology is framed within a lightweight polyurethane midsole, supported by a tri-tone waffle-traction rubber outsole. The upper takes inspiration from one of the earliest AM1 colorways, featuring a white mesh base with grey synthetic suede overlays along the midfoot and heel. Obsidian accents appear on the Swoosh and mudguard, while contrasting hits of scarlet land on the molded eyelets and Nike Air heel embroidery.
